Q: CAN THE KEY CARDS BE REUSABLE BEFORE OR AFTER PREVIOUS GUESTS CHECKED OUT THE ROOM? UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES THE PREVIOUS KEY CARDS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY VOIDED?

A: Once the new keys have been issued, it will automatically override the previous key card. The key card is also expired at the 12:00p.m. noon upon the standard checked out time.

Q: DO ELOX LOCKS HAVE A BACK-UP SYSTEM IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE?

A: The stand alone ELOX Front Desk Controller System is powered by both A/C and D/C. and the locks are stand-alone batteries operated system with a mechanical key backup. The stand-alone ELOX safety card system will function in case Front Desk Controller System is down.

Q: DOES THE ELOX LOCKING SYSTEM PROVIDE AN AUDIT TRAIL AND INDIVIDUAL LOCKS PROVIDE THE INTERROGATION FEATURE?

A: The guest lock interrogation report can store the last 340 accessed.

Q: DOES THE ELOX LOCK MEET ADA
SPECIFICATIONS?

A: ELOX locks are ADA compliant and all locks have a level type handle.

Q: IS AN ELOX LOCK A TWO POINT LATCHING SYSTEM?

A: All locks have a two point latching system.

Q: IS THE DEAL BOLT A FULL ONE-INCH HARDENED STEEL BOLT?

A: Dead bolt is a full one inch throw with an inside guest operated turn piece.

Q: DO THE LATCH BOLD HAS A 3/4 INCH THROW
WITH A DEAD LATCH FEATURE?

A: The latch bolt has a 3/4 inch with a deadlocking feature.

Q: DO THE LOCKSET HAS A 3/4 INCH ANTI-PANIC FEATURE WHEREBY THE GUEST WHEN EXITING THE ROOM RETRACTS THE DEAD BOLT AND THE LATCH BOLT SIMULTANEOUSLY?

A: Lockset has a single action turn of the interior handles that retracts the dead bolt and latch bolt in compliance with life safety codes.

Q: DO INDIVIDUAL LOCKS HAVE EMERGENCY
OVERRIDE CAPABILITIES?

A: The locks come standard with a traditional mechanical key operation. Which allows room access for lock maintenance without the use of computerizes electronics, with or without the deadbolt being engaged.

Q: IS THE HOUSEKEEPING KEY INOPERABLE
WITH THE DEAD BOLT HAS BEEN THROWN OR
PROTECTED BY THE GUEST?

A: The standard privacy function prevents staff from intruding into an occupied room. Emergency key card can override the privacy feature.
